About Me

I am from Little Rock, AR. I began my journey in music as a member of the middle school glee club. The next year, I traded in my vocals for the trumpet and French Horn. I played in high school, college, and in the military band. I graduated from college and became a band director and taught at the secondary level for several years. I am in my ninth year as an elementary music teacher, sixth year at King Elementary School. Before coming to King, I taught in Florida, California, Nevada, Texas, Tennessee, and Arkansas. I am happy to now serve the families in the District of Colombia.
